NCLEX®:

(National Council Licensure Examination)

  • Since April 1994, the NCLEX® has been taken on computers at testing sites across the United States and select international sites.
  • There is a fee for taking the NCLEX® along with any other fees assessed by the board of nursing where you are seeking your licensure.
  • When you register for the NCLEX®, you must submit an application for licensure to the board of nursing where you wish to be licensed.
  • You may register by mail, telephone or via the internet at www.personvue.com/nclex
  • Please note applications will have deadlines and there are no refunds!

 

VisaScreen/CGFNS/ICHP:

(Visa Credentials Assessment/Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools/International Commission on Healthcare Professions)

  • VisaScreen Assessment consist of licensure validation, educational analysis, English language profiency assessment, and, an exam of nursing knowledge for registered nurses only.
  • When the above requirements are met and documentation is received the applicant receives a CGFNS/ICHP VisaScreen certificate.
  • Please remember, in order to receive your VisaScreen certificate, you must provide documentation to the CGFNS/ICHP office, http://www.cgfns.org/
